 It’s
not secret that Montauk Point, located on the eastern tip of Long Island, New
York is considered to be one of the best sport fishing locations in the world,
especially when it come to Striped Bass (Morone saxatilis), the "Grey Ghost"
some call it. The "Striper" is an elusive, powerful and unpredictable
sport fish. The mystery and allure of this incredible fish is legendary, causing
men to loose sleep, miss work and anger spouses. This is one special fish, and
it is my personal favorite fish to fish for.
I return to Montauk every September to run fly and light spin fish charters
for Striped Bass, False Albacore and Bluefish.
